Early Services Safety Program

At Early Services, providing a safe and healthy environment to our employees, subcontractors and the communities in which we work is a fundamental principle. Because accidents can occur due to unsafe acts, unsafe conditions or a combination of both, we strive to recognize and correct hazards, train employees to work safely and to report unsafe working conditions thus eliminating the possibility of injuries.

For each project, our goal is to have zero accidents. To achieve this goal, Early Services as a whole must work together as a team. This includes management, supervisors and all employees. Our focus as a company must be on training employees on how to safely and effectively do their job while producing a quality product. Each employee must feel that they are part of the team and that their values, ideas and input are important. For our safety program at Early Services to be effective, everyone must come to the realization that safety is just as important as quality and profit.

Once these ideals are understood and practiced, safe behavior will become routine. When each individual does what is required of them, accidents can be reduced and even prevented. Early Services’ safety program is built on the following principles:

  • Working safely is a condition of employment
  • All safety rules, policies and procedures must be followed
  • Understand that injuries are preventable
  • Perform a task only if it is safe
  • Do not take shortcuts
  • If unsure, ask questions
  • Practice and expect safe behavior at all times
